& Ince, in any case

We act for hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, stately homes, off licences, late-night takeaways and visitor centres to name a few and have obtained premises licences for large outdoor music festivals and even for a former battleship.

We advise landlords and investors on all licensing and regulatory issues, and appear regularly before licensing committees, particularly in London. We defend licence holders in licensing reviews and criminal proceedings, conduct appeals and engage in leisure industry liaison groups. We recognise the importance of establishing good business relationships and work closely with other professionals such as architects and surveyors to ensure that a project meets licensing requirements.

Our specialist licensing team is able to assist you in applying for a new licence or an application to vary an existing licence. When acting in such matters costs are calculated based on our hourly fee rates. The cost of your matter will depend upon the complexity however we set out our costs in the brochure on this page which is available for downloading.

A straightforward application is likely to take approximately 5 to 6 weeks to complete and a more complex application where a hearing is necessary will take approximately 8 to 15 weeks from instruction to conclusion. This is dependent upon the amount of pre-application work necessary and when a hearing is listed.
