Ince boosts international maritime team with hire of new Partner, Aris Moschopoulos

Ince, the international legal and professional services firm, today further strengthened its world-leading shipping team with the appointment of Aris Moschopoulos as Partner in its Piraeus office.

Aris is an expert shipping litigator with over 10 years’ experience in the industry, most recently as Legal Director at Hill Dickinson. He has been advising Shipowners, P&I Clubs, Charterers, Traders, H&M Insurers and other key players in the shipping industry onshipping, international trade and marine insurance law matters.

Arishas been representing clientsin High Court andarbitration proceedings, cross border litigation and mediation, as well as cross border bankruptcy and administration proceedings.

Hejoins the litigation department in Piraeus, and will provide expert advice to its global clients on all aspects of shipping law. His expertise includes disputes under bills of lading, charterparties, international sale of goods contracts, worldwide ship arrests, freezing injunctions, groundings, constructive and actual total losses and issues relating to general average.

This latest strategic hire into Ince’s Piraeus office, follows the appointment of Konstantinos (Dinos) Mexias as Partner in the ship finance team at the start of the year.
