Michel joined the shipping litigation team as a Marine Manager and casualty investigator in 2022 and is a member of the firm’s International Emergency Response Team. He advises on admiralty matters with a focus on marine casualties.
Before moving ashore, Michel served with a major Greek shipowner with a fleet of over 100 vessels. His seagoing experience includes large crude oil and gas carriers trading worldwide. He assists the admiralty team on crisis response with a particular focus on groundings, collisions, fires and salvage and the subsequent wet and dry litigation arising from those casualties.
Michel holds an LLB and an LLM in Maritime Law (Distinction) and has worked on several successful LNG/LPG and crude oil projects for one of the largest fleets in Greek shipping.
