Michael specialises in providing pragmatic and commercial real estate advice to both domestic and international clients. He advises property investors, developers and end users in the office, retail and leisure, shipping, insurance, aviation and industrial sectors on a range of property related transactions.

Michael regularly advises clients in connection with acquisitions, disposals and general management work for a wide range of commercial and retail premises including those in the City and West End of London, Canary Wharf and elsewhere in the UK.

His experience extends to acting for high net worth individuals in relation to the acquisition, disposal and management of high-value residential properties, whether for own-occupation or investment purposes.

  •  Acting for an Abu Dhabi based aviation company on the sale of a mixed commercial and residential building in Farringdon for £30 million.
  • Representing a professional Opera Company and charity on its relocation to a newly constructed theatre, located in a 350 acre estate in West Horsley, Surrey.
  • Acting for a co-working/serviced office provider across its UK property portfolio advising on new leases (and ancillary documents such as agreements for lease, rent deposit deeds and bank guarantees). 
  • Acting for a major US airline carrier in relation to the negotiation of leases, lease surrenders and disputes concerning office and warehouse premises (both on and off airport). 
  • Representing a leading shipping company on the disposal of a multi-let commercial building in the West End to a major property fund for £20m. 
  • Representing a major European budget airline carrier on the negotiation of its lease of HQ office premises in Gatwick Airport. 
  • Assisting UHNW families and family offices with acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold residential properties in Central London, usually with a value in excess of £5m.
