Gillie heads the firm’s global Aviation practice. She advises a range of clients from airlines, financiers, manufacturers and their insurers with regard to a broad range of their disputes in contract and tort, under the various liability regimes and usually dealing with complex international problems.

Most recently she has been advising a leading finance interest in relation to their hull claim for US$100 million in respect of two missing Boeing 747s including preparing their claim for English High Court litigation very successfully before the matter was concluded in mediation. She is known for her formidable case handling and strategic direction skills in relation to very large and complex cases. 

Gillie is recognised as one of the world's leading practitioners for Aviation Contentious by Who's Who Legal: Transport 2015. Gillie is also named as a Super Lawyer for Aviation law by London Super Lawyers magazine, part of Thomson Reuters, for the third consecutive year (since it began in 2013).
