Geoffroy is an associate in the Singapore office. He specialises in shipping litigation and dispute resolution with a particular focus on carriage of goods by sea and international trade.

Prior to joining Ince, Geoffroy completed his training contract with a renowned maritime law firm in London where he acted for insurers/reinsurers, brokers and high-profile clients in the soft commodities sector on a variety of matters including subrogated cargo recovery actions, bills of lading and charterparty disputes.

Geoffroy is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and is fully bilingual in English and French.

  • Representing cargo interests in Commercial Court proceedings concerning the contamination of £600,000.00 worth of palm and fatty acid methyl ester.
  • Advising various shipowners in a dispute arising from the construction and delivery of an offshore supply ship.

  • Advising cargo interests on the unseaworthiness and General Average aspects of several major shipping casualties.
