Richard focuses on advising clients on general corporate and commercial, as well as asset finance transactions. The majority of the matters on which he advises have an international element.

Richard has extensive experience in advising on M&A, corporate finance, joint ventures, real estate structuring and finance, and general business affairs.

He also regularly advises on matters relating to asset finance, such as the sale/purchase, financing and structuring of aircraft, including business jets, and luxury yachts.

He is active in the sports sector, advising business and individuals in the sports industry on corporate and commercial matters and speaking on the legal framework in which sports men and women operate.

Prior to joining Ince in 2014, Richard gained over 15 years’ experience at another leading law firm.

Richard is a keen skier and likes nothing more than skiing with his kids in the Alps.  Richard also enjoys golf (he would like to play more !) and is an avid follower of his beloved Sunderland football club.
