Dimitris specialises in wet and dry shipping litigation and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience advising major local and international shipping companies, clubs, operators, charterers, underwriters and classification societies in litigation before the Greek Courts.

Dimitris’ main area of expertise is in wet and dry shipping litigation and dispute resolution. He also represents P&I Clubs and classification societies in major casualties, marine accidents and salvage claims. He has considerable experience in all aspects of Greek Civil law and procedure and his expertise extends to litigation with government authorities arising from fines and tax and social security disputes. He also represents big insurance companies before the Greek Courts.

Furthermore, Dimitris regularly advises clients on transactional matters. His experience includes advising multi-national companies on establishing a presence in Greece and Greek companies on their incorporation, structuring, taxation and financing issues, as well as compliance with the legal and regulatory framework. He also assists clients on property-related transactions.
