Claudia specialises in banking and finance law for clients in the maritime sector, with additional expertise in real estate finance, general banking, banking regulation and ISDA contracts.
Claudia advises domestic and international banks, investment funds and shipowners on all aspects of ship finance law, including drafting of loan and security documentation for vessel and fleet financings. She also assists banks and shipowners on all issues concerning the restructuring of their financing arrangements.
Her expertise extends to international real estate asset and project finance for banks and investment funds. Claudia also advises on general banking law, regulation and ISDA contracts. Furthermore, she is experienced in export credit cover, debt restructuring and multi- and bilateral rescheduling of sovereign debt.
Claudia brings considerable banking sector experience to her clients, as she previously worked for a wholesale bank and the German export credit guarantee agency. During her time in banking, she was responsible for transaction steering and coordination for multi-million syndicated loans and the day-to-day coordination with the bank’s subsidiary in Paris.
