Ince strengthens Regulatory Solutions team with the hire of new Partner Robert Jappie

11 February 2020, London: International legal and professional services firm Ince has today announced the appointment of Robert Jappie, as a new Partner in the Regulatory Solutions team.
In his new role, Robert will focus on promoting Ince as a global leader in Regulatory Solutions, as well as working with the incumbent team to provide first class advice on worldwide regulatory issues.

Robert is a well-respected and leading legal expert in the European cannabis industry. He specialises in Cannabis Law and Regulation and this provides him with a unique insight into the complexities of global drug policy and law.

The legal cannabis sector is a fast-expanding industry, with experts stating the market will grow to be worth $166 billion by 2025 [Source: Euromonitor International]. Robert’s expertise in this area will help Ince expand their Regulatory Solutions department and help clients operating in this space comply with evolving laws and regulations.

Since launching the UK’s first dedicated cannabis law department in 2018, Robert has advised many established Cannabis and CBD businesses in the UK and Europe. He is actively involved in shaping the UK’s cannabis regulatory landscape and has defended the human rights of medicinal cannabis patients.
