Employment Law Update Spring 2012 - now available

16.05.2012

Intro text

Since our Employment Law Update - Autumn 2011 there have been significant developments in UK employment law. In particular there are a number of important changes from April 2012 including the increase in the qualifying period for unfair dismissal from one to two years for employees commencing work on or after 6 April 2012.

Employers need to be aware of these and other changes to ensure that they are reflected in workplace practices and procedures, reducing the scope for disputes.

We set out in our Employment Law Update - Spring 2012 summaries of some of the most important developments in recent months.

Please do not hesitate to contact Katy Carr, Nick Wilcox or your usual Ince contact should you wish to discuss any of these matters further.
