Ship/asset finance advisory
From the Middle East we provide financial advisory services to the Maritime and Aviation sectors. Our consultants advise clients in relation to the arrangement of debt and equity for Shipowners for vessel acquisitions, they advise clients in relation to restructuring of financially distressed shipping and oil and gas marine service companies, and they advise clients on M&A opportunities. They also have experience in originating and advising on Sale and Leaseback financing and Project Broking. Managing Director for Ince Consulting Middle East is Knut Mathiassen who has extensive experience in shipping finance and marine advisory.
From our office in Hamburg we provides asset and corporate financing and restructuring, as well as sale and purchase transactions and bad book loan sales to our clients in the maritime industry. We advise banks, shipowners and yards, both domestically and internally, across the spectrum of issues which arise in the financing of vessels. In addition, we also advise on sale and purchase transactions. Alexandra Ewert is a Senior Corporate Finance Manager in Hamburg.
From our London office we advise clients on the legal aspects of ship finance transactions Our lawyers have extensive knowledge of a range of sectors and our clients include banks, private equity houses, export credit agencies, lessors, shipowners, airlines, and operators.
Many of our corporate and commercial transactions involve ship finance and energy project financing aspects. We are experts in advising our clients in respect of; secured lending transactions, transactions involving senior and mezzanine funding as well as equity participation, refinancing of existing facilities, and project finance. David Baker heads the ship finance team in London.
